Summary
This job involves maintaining and repairing painted surfaces in a nursing facility for veterans, such as fixing walls damaged by wheelchairs or leaks, painting handrails, and installing protective wall coverings.
It also includes routine pre-maintenance tasks and helping the maintenance team as needed.

Under general supervision, repairs, patches and paints walls due to damage from wheelchairs, various carts, and water damage due to leaks. Fills, paints and stains wood and metal handrails. Installs vinyl and wood wall coverings for protection from damage. Performs monthly pre-maintenance and assists maintenance department with related work as needed.
