Our agency is looking to fill a part-time, permanent Office Assistant (OA3) vacancy within the Community Corrections Division.
This permanent project position works for the Western Washington Workcrew Unit located at 1550 4th Ave S. Seattle, WA 98134. A set work schedule will be determined upon hire and will consist of a minimum of
20 hours per week within the following business hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. With pre-approval or direction from the supervisor, this position may work additional hours as business needs require.
Under general supervision from the Western WA Workcrew Program Manager, this position performs advanced clerical support for the unit, to include recordkeeping, database entry and retrieval, and will cover the reception desk as needed or required.

Requirements
- Manage reports and database entry and retrieval from various systems, such as Access, OMNI (Offender Management Network Information), and SharePoint.
- Maintain office supplies, vehicles, and equipment.
- Process incoming/outgoing mail and correspondence.
- Cover the front desk reception area on a rotational basis.
- Manage a multi-line phone system.
- Manage physical and electronic records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Six months of clerical and/or customer experience.
- Basic level of proficiency and knowledge with Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Must respect and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to assist individuals with various criminal backgrounds.
- Ability to navigate internal databases.
- Ability to proofread written material and identify and correct errors in sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to staff, supervised individuals, public, and stakeholders

Salary is based on skills and abilities that apply to the primary functions of the role and/or years of experience and is decided at the time a final offer of employment is made.
The salary range listed in the job posting includes steps A-M. Within a permanent salary range, step M is a longevity step, it is typically gained six years after being assigned to step L.
