This position is located in Seattle, Washington, and is not union-represented. Annual Salary: $118,152.The base pay offered will take into account internal equity.

Learn more about the AGO here.Position DescriptionThis position works in a collaborative environment to support the Policy Director, Chief of Staff and Attorney General, in the development and execution of the AGO’s policy program and the AG’s policy priorities.
This work seeks to advance and protect the legal rights and interests of Washingtonians, including tenants, consumers, workers, and communities of color.
This position leads a team of policy analysts who are currently focused on labor, housing, AI, and data privacy. It serves as a member of the Policy Division’s management team.
Additionally, this position independently maintains a policy portfolio focusing on economic justice, housing and workers’ rights, in collaboration with internal and external interested partners.
Essential Functions of this position include:
Policy Research & Development: Develop, lead, and execute policy initiatives including reports, public education materials, potential legislation, resource proposals, grant applications, etc.
relating to housing, labor, and other economic justice issues, in close coordination with, and at the direction of, the Policy Director or Deputy Policy Director.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in public policy, law, government, economics, or related field

Five or more years of relevant experience, to include at least two years of supervision experience.
