This job involves leading a team of nurses and medical assistants in a youth detention clinic, overseeing daily operations, staff training, and patient care for young people with limited access to healthcare.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing science or a graduate level nursing degree of MSN, DNP or PhD from an accredited school of nursing.
Current Washington State license as a Registered Nurse or Multi-State Licensure.
Documentation of current BLS-CPR for Health Care Providers. CPR/AED HeartSaver courses do not meet this requirement.
Washington state driver's license or ability to travel to sites within the county.
Pass background and credentialing; including complete King County personnel file & disciplinary file review.
Current career service qualified registered nurse employed within the Dept. of Adult & Juvenile Detention - Juvenile Division only.
Work Schedule: This 1.0 FTE, fully benefitted career service position and has a typical work schedule of 1100 -1900, Monday through Friday.
This position is overtime eligible and may work outside of the typical schedule to meet operational needs. Work Location: King County Juvenile Detention Center, 1211 E. Alder, Seattle, WA, 98122.
The individual selected for this position will work within the secure perimeter of the juvenile detention facility.
