About the position: This position is located at the NAF Accounting Office, Spangdahlem AB, Germany and the primary purpose of this position is to serve as the functional point of contact for the Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) budgeting.
This is a Regular Part Time position, which qualifies for Annual & Sick Leave accrual, 401(k), Health & Dental Insurance, Life Insurance and more.

Qualifying Experience: Must have accounting experience which provides a knowledge of commonly used budgetary methods, practices. procedures, understanding of the rules, regulations. policies.
and processes to formulate, justify and execute budgets. Must possess effective writing skills sufficient to prepare and correspondence effectively to management.
Knowledge of computer operations and the skills to input and retrieve computer produced financial management products and other system data.
Skill in compiling and composing both quantitative and qualitative financial reports Ability to gather.
assemble and analyze financial data and sources off actual information, such as that found in accounting reports, payroll records, work reports. or inventory and supply data.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of general ledger and subsidiary accounts & accrual accounting structure requiring asset and liability control accounts.
Knowledge of NAF activity operations is preferred. Major Duties:
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the functional point of contact for the Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) budgeting.
Responsible for performing day-to-day control and management involving the formulation, execution and or analysis of the organization's budget and funding requirements.
The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Manages the NAF operating budget and NAF capital requirements budget for 52 Force Support Squadron (FSS) Checks the accuracy and adequacy of budget justification data Reviews financial management reports to ensure operations are within approved funding and to detect errors Prepares guidance and standard procedures and regulations relating to the organization's budget and financial procedure processes.
Verifies, enters, and adjusts budgetary data in a variety of financial systems. Conducts NAF budget related training of organizational personnel on budget processes, procedures. requirements, etc.
Assist NAF accounting technicians & Logistics section in maintaining correct NAF property records. Oversees the NAF government purchase card (P-Card) program (IPC).
