This position is with Child and Youth Services at the Redstone Arsenal.
Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: Available to MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours) First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: At least 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.

Requires a valid state driver's license to operate a 15 passenger vehicle.
To be found eligible, proof of education must be submitted with the application along with a copy of a current valid driver's license. Major Duties:
- Develops and follows efficient, consistent and safe bus routes for routine trips (e.g., to and from school) to minimize transportation time.
- Ensures the safety and well-being of children, youth and adults being transported to and from the program and on field trips.
- Practices bus evacuation following prescribed procedures with children and youth on a monthly basis.
- Arranges for and ensures completion of routine maintenance of bus (e.g., oil change) transporting the bus to and from maintenance facilities.
- Completes a comprehensive written inspection of the bus daily, reporting any concerns to the supervisor before transporting children/youth.
