  • You will perform recycling materials handling and operate motor vehicles as the primary transporter of recyclable material or supplies.
  • You will operate stake trucks, which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight (GW) of more than 10,000 and up to 26,000 pounds.
  • You will maneuver vehicles in and out of constricted areas.
  • You will load and unload transported material using forklifts or skid steer.
  • You will perform operator maintenance on vehicles operated and assigned to Recycling Center.
  • You will coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of material based on priorities, scheduling requirements, and space allocations.
  • You will ensure cargo is properly protected, distributed and secured to prevent damage or loss during transit.
  • You will certify and inspect 50 caliber casings and below offered for turn-in at MCB Hawaii recycling center.
