This job opportunity is for an MOBILIZATION PLANS SPECIALIST, position description D0623000, within the NJARNG G-3 MRO. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.

Must have the following experiences: Program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions.
Developing and recommending policy Organizing and carrying out specific programs Evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations Supervisory, staff or technical work, applying practices and procedures Study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies Preparing written communications and oral presentations Major Duties:
As aMOBILIZATION PLANS SPECIALIST ,GS -0301-11, you will: Analyzes the war plan missions assigned to the state's units.
Determines the need to develop a specific mobilization plan, special report or to conduct a study. Analyzes force structure changes for impact on the state and unit mobilization plans.
Develops, participates, and provides guidance in planning, publicizing, and administering ANG enlisted awards, recognition and promotion programs.
Analyzes United States Forces Command (FORSCOM) Mobilization and Deployment Planning System (FORMDEPS) directives.
Develops, analyzes, and updates mobilization plans and projects from conception to completion. Provides mobilization planning assistance to the state staff and subordinate HQs staff and units.
Acts as the mobilization POC for the Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS), coordinates staff studies and actions.
Makes recommendations to the MRO on the planning, programming and execution of mobilization exercise funds. Prepares and conducts instructions on mobilization preparedness and planning as required.
Coordinates meetings and conferences with various units on mobilization plans. Performs other duties as assigned.
