About the Position: This Military Technician position is with the United States Army Reserve Command 81st RSC RPAC Jackson Satellite SC013 Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Utilizing office automation systems (i.e., spreadsheets, word processing, databases) for a variety of work products, AND Preparing correspondence with grammatical accuracy for dissemination to customers; AND Process a variety of personnel or pay actions for the organization.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Major Duties:

  • Process complex pay entitlements for accuracy.
  • Provide technical expertise to support internal customers.
  • Research personnel programs to prepare administrative records.
  • Maintain administrative files in accordance with policy.
  • Analyze statistical reports for inconsistencies.
