This position is for Mid Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Monday - Friday).

Job Duties:
- The Child Welfare Services Case Worker Assistant provide services to remedy abuse, neglect and exploitations of self neglect of adults or children unable to protect themselves. Case Worker Assistant will assist Case Worker I with providing casework services.
- Provides or arranges transportation to resources in the community as part of the social service side plan.
- Participates as a member of professional team to plan services clients.
- Makes requests for educational, medical, dental, law enforcement, etc. records.
- Makes referrals to service providers, family group conferencing,, Seneca Search, etc.
- Assists with the completion of various packets within the agency.
- Assists with the transportation of children.
- Assists with child and family visitation and teach appropriate parenting and household management skills.
- Assists with other administrative support functions to include drafting correspondences, copying, faxing, email, etc.
- Ensures that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared, and disposed of, to protect the agency networks and application by safeguarding systems, equipment, and data. Ensure that files are left secured when leaving your area.
- Performs other related duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Performs Red Cross Shelter, Disaster SNAP task, and emergency response duties as directed.
Requirements
A High School Diploma and three (3) years of work experience in clerical, administration, social work, correctional, business administration or general business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience or an Associates Degree and one (1) year of work experience in clerical, administration, social work, correctional, business administration or general business.
