Summary

What You Will Be Doing:

As an Image and Data Management team member, you'll play a vital role in scanning and processing documents into digital records.

You will support the Program Coordinator in processing business licenses and tax documents, including tasks like sorting mail, batching documents, and scanning for data entry—all while helping to shape a digital future.

You will work with seasoned staff on developing, testing, and implementing digitization and information processes.

You'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise with Microsoft Suite programs in your daily work and access online training to refine your knowledge, skills, and experiences—enhancing your potential for future promotional opportunities.

Located on 11th floor of the State Office Building (SOB) in the heart of downtown Juneau, we have a beautiful view of the Gastineau channel, access to State of Alaska employee parking, and the convenience of stores, restaurants, trails, and the Downtown Transit Center.

This position works with our mail staff and needs to be in office to receive and process mail daily, but we do find ways to celebrate the work we do and should you need to work off lunch there are plenty of stairs.

Requirements

One year of training and/or experience in the operation of microfilm and/or scanning equipment to produce microfilm, microfiche, or scanned images including processing, duplication and quality control equipment.
