This job is for a library technician at a military base library in Alaska, where you'll handle everyday tasks like checking out books, helping patrons find information, managing the collection, and using library software to keep things organized.
It's a hands-on role that involves both customer service and behind-the-scenes work to support library operations.
A good fit would be someone with practical experience in libraries or information services who enjoys working with people and technology in a structured environment.
This position is located at the Fort Wainwright Library. Incentives and Bonuses Up to 25% recruitment or relocation and/or retention incentive may be paid (service agreement required).
Recruitment incentives are applicable to newly hired individuals/rehired individuals.
Relocation incentives are applicable to current NAF employees who have accepted a Regular Full-Time (RFT) in a different geographical location with no break in service.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.
One year of work experience that equipped the applicant with practical Knowledge of library or related information services, tools, methods and procedures.
