This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Waccamaw Center for Mental Health, 164 Waccamaw Medical Park Drive, Conway, SC 29526.
This position MAY be eligible for SCOMH Student Loan Repayment to cover some of the cost of your outstanding loan(s) balance associated with the completion of a healthcare degree that is relevant to the appliable position.
As the Mental Health Professional I, under direct supervision will serve as the Access/Crisis Team clinician providing screening, assessment, crisis intervention, community crisis intervention, individual, family and group therapy. Completion of judicial and emergency forms for probate court with individuals and other approved services to clients of the Conway office of WCMH.Assist in maximizing recovery efforts by providing a variety of coordination and consultation services with schools, community agencies, local hospitals, probate court and OMH staff members to assist clients.
This includes completion of judicial forms and emergency pick-up forms with family members of crisis patients.
