This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Waccamaw Center for Mental Health, 525 Layfette Street, Georgetown, SC.
This position MAY be eligible for SCOMH Student Loan Repayment to cover some of the cost of your outstanding loan(s) balance associated with the completion of a healthcare degree that is relevant to the appliable position.Provide therapy, emergency services and case management services to adults experiencing emotional disturbances, to include assessments, crisis intervention, individual, group and family therapy, patient and family education.
These services will be provided in the patients living in the most rural communities in our catchment area.
Represent Waccamaw Center of Mental Health and Office of Mental Health and other community forums to plan and develop programs to improve the quality of life for psychiatrically disabled patients.
This position operates a state vehicle to provide outreach and other clinical services including allowing patients to see a psychiatrist via telehealth services.
