This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Greater Greenville Mental Health Center, 124 Mallard Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
Under limited supervision, provides triage screenings, crisis intervention, and advanced assessments.Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional I:
Provide triage screening, assessment, crisis intervention services for persons in crisis/emergency situations or persons seeking services via phone or face to face contact.
Maintain documentation of clinical services in accordance with State/Center Quality Assurance standards. Collaborative Concurrent Documentation will be a technique utilized in this effort.
Comply with the SC Department of Mental Health Compliance Plan and all legal responsibilities and requirements in performing job duties.
All required trainings are completed within DMH Guidelines. Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
Assist with walk ins, hospitalizations and additional clinical support to other areas as needed.
In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Office of Mental Health, applicants must provide evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care.
This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
