This role involves serving on a five-member panel that resolves disputes about how hospitals and other providers get paid under Medicare's hospital insurance program.
You'll participate in hearings, review cases, write decisions, and ensure fair processes while working closely with colleagues.
It's a great fit for experienced accountants or lawyers with deep knowledge of Medicare payments and a knack for impartial decision-making.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) seeks candidates, including accountants and attorneys, to fill a vacant position on the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB).
The PRRB is an independent five-member panel that adjudicates disputes over institutional reimbursement matters in the Medicare program.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in the field of Medicare Part A reimbursement and Medicare payment of providers.
Ideal candidates will have experience in Medicare Part A payment matters, administrative or judicial review, health law and/or Medicare cost reports. References will be requested.
