The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Bureau of Training and Education is seeking a creative Media Production Specialist. Requirements
As a Media Production Specialist, you will perform specialized, technical, and creative work in the field of media production.
You will be responsible for the development, production, post-production, and delivery of multimedia projects used for public information, training, education, and other purposes within PSP.
You will use sound professional judgement and execute media production projects for internal and external customers. This will include:
- Utilizing film production, multi-media design, animation, photography, and graphic design tools
- Planning video productions and content
- Writing scripts and storyboards
- Determining appropriate audio-visual modality
- Editing and producing post-production elements
- Performing grip work and set construction
Additionally, you will formulate project timelines, develop alternative work methods to avoid obstacles, and determine the workforce and resources necessary to carry out production plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You may work evenings and weekends as needed for specific events.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $59,345.00 (before taxes).

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience in video or film production, multi-media design, animation, photography, or graphic design and a bachelor's degree in communications media, video or film production, graphic design, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
