This job involves helping produce and manage video recordings of government meetings and events for Nashville's public network, including setting up cameras, handling audio and lighting, and editing footage afterward.

The role requires flexibility for irregular hours, like nights or weekends, to support 24/7 operations.
This IS Media Technician 1 – Metro Nashville Network (MNN) position participates in all activities necessary for pre-production, production, and post-production of Metro meetings, events and special projects.
In addition, this position works directly with the technical aspect of running and troubleshooting video equipment.
Participate in activities as necessary and assigned for creation of programs for broadcast on Metro Nashville Network and affiliated mediums including scheduling, video, audio and lighting, editing, and other duties related to that business.

**Information Technology Services (ITS) is a 24x7 information technology shop. Applicant must be willing and available to perform duties as required by the job. This may include work on nights, weekends and holidays and may include overtime hours but only as necessary. **
Video Production: Participate in the recording of business meetings for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
Metro Nashville Network coverage can consist of multi-camera productions and single camera productions.
Candidates are expected to assist with producing video content through either means for various purposes, including cablecast, streaming, and internal use, adhering to quality standards and project requirements.
High School Diploma and one year of related experience using videography, lighting, audio and associated software tools necessary in the development and cablecast of video programs.
OR
Associate’s Degree in a related field.
