This part-time role at an Air Force base involves managing online content, social media, and digital marketing for community support programs to promote events and activities.
You'll update websites, create posts, analyze trends, and assist with campaigns under a marketing director's guidance, with flexible hours up to 40 per week including evenings and weekends.

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moody AFB Marketing Office. Guaranteed 20 hours, but may work up to 40 hours per week.
Member will work under the guidance and direction of the Marketing Director. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. This position is considered Regular Part-time.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of current digital media opportunities and stay informed on capabilities of new media entering the marketplace.
Must be self-motivated, organized and work independently. Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar and punctuation mandatory.
General marketing knowledge such as advertising principles and targeting demographic groups is preferred.
A working knowledge of PC Software packages to include PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and WordPress preferred.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign highly recommended. Must possess customer service skills. Must be able to work within deadlines. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Under the direction of the Marketing Director, maintains all 23 Force Support Squadron (FSS) on-line and digital marketing content and assists with the creation of marketing collateral content and campaigns.
Serves as primary on-line marketing administrator for the 23 FSS.
Uses social media opportunities including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and various social media tools to advertise 23 FSS activities and events and provides weekly status reports.
Updates media on a daily basis to include accurate event information, answers customer inquiries and represents 23 FSS in a professional manner.
Creates material for network monitor screens and marquees and updates internally and manually as needed.
Implements social media campaigns and develops communication strategies to effectively reach target audience. Tabulates responses, analyzes results and prepares a report to the Marketing Director.
Assists in determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency and enhance participation in FSS activities. Researches consumer and social media trends and implements as applicable.
Monitors and updates the monthly 23 FSS event calendar. Monitors and updates website and app content. Reviews copy, graphics, advertisements and links to ensure quality and proper branding of website.
Works closely with Activity Managers to ensure all information is up-to-date and programs and events are disseminated to target audiences.
Works at events as photographer and uploads photographs to share drive and social media.
May conduct squadron tours, process marketing requests, conduct marketing briefs, on-site visits to FSS facilities and attend marketing meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
