This job involves driving a vehicle to deliver and stock vending machines and kiosks at Marine Corps locations, while also cleaning equipment, handling merchandise, and providing customer service.

Skills and Knowledge: Basic skill sufficient to start, stop, and back-up a motor vehicle. Knowledge of the height, width, length, and weight of vehicle to operate safely.
Ability to read and understand installation maps and other locator documents for finding various buildings and facilities. Ability to load and arrange cargo to prevent shifting, falling, and breakage.
Driver's license is required. Responsibility: Receives instructions from supervisor on route or specific trip assignment. Independently fills and cleans machines coolers, fixtures, and kiosks.
Maintains security of product and money at all times. Reports malfunctions of the vending machines, coolers, and kiosks to management.
Work is checked and evaluated for timeliness, adequate stocking of merchandise and the safe and accurate recording and transport of funds.
Physical Effort: Light to moderate effort is required in bending, stooping, lifting and stocking. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.
Working Conditions: Works both inside and outside and occasionally is exposed to bad weather conditions. Drives in all types of weather and is exposed to possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones.
Must wear issued protective gear. Major Duties:
Major Duties: Receives and loads vending items for delivery to vending and MCX24 locations.
Drives motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 10,000 pounds over public roads at highway speeds under all traffic conditions to transport merchandise.
Removes aged food or other merchandise from machines and MCX24¿s; replenish merchandise; and make appropriate notations on required documents.
Monitors brands and sale prices to ensure adequate stocking levels and compliance with approved selling prices.
Cleans interior and exterior of machines, coolers, fixtures, and kiosks to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
Verifies items against appropriate documentation to ensure correct items and quantities have been received; checks cost and retails prices; reports shortages, overages, damaged items, or any other discrepancy noted to the supervisor.
Drives motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 10,000 pounds.
Pulls merchandise in accordance with established procedures for shipment, transfers or customer orders as directed by system or supervisor.
Performs periodic inventories as required and assists supervisor with inventory preparation. Performs basic housekeeping duties to maintain stock areas clean and orderly.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly.
Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other duties as assigned.
