The Jacksonville Public Library is actively seeking a Manager for Library Events.
This is an appointed position reporting to the Assistant Director-Deputy Chief Librarian for Support Services and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that support the mission of the Jacksonville Public Library (Library).
As a member of the Library's leadership team (LRT), the Manager for Library Events (MLE) delivers results by expanding the Library’s reach and impact through successful events developed in collaboration with internal team members and external individuals and organizations.
The MLE is responsible for planning and delivery of key systemwide and Main Library events, while also establishing best practices and serving as an advisor to branch library staff hosting events across the city.
The MLE establishes, maintains, and strengthens systemwide event partnerships that align with the Library’s strategic priorities.

Must qualify for prior to appointment, obtain, and maintain during employment a City of Jacksonville Public Driver Certification.
