We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team in the Transportation Division. While working with our staff, you will help us manage our vehicle fleet and its operation.

Requirements

In this position, you will provide administrative and operational support to ensure fleet operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Your work will involve managing the assignment, maintenance, repair, and warranty coverage of the PSP’s 3,800 vehicle automotive fleet.

You will enter service and maintenance records, provide system access for authorized users, modify the system to meet agency needs, and create custom reports.

Some of your duties will include receiving and reviewing vendor repair estimates, verifying the validity of supplemental repairs, and submitting requests to the supervisor for final approval.

Additionally, you will process vehicles for disposition and auction pick up before sending necessary paper to the Department of General Services, and Auto Auction for further processing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Free parking comes with this position.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $45,907.00 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • This position requires possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • One or more years reading auto repair estimates and service invoices
