Requirements
In this position the caseworker will be responsible for case management services, including maintaining close contact with consumer families and service providers in order to evaluate and document treatment being provided and progress in meeting identified goals of treatment. May serve as a lead worker for professional staff and student interns. Advocacy for referral for collateral/supportive services in order to meet clients needs in areas other than behavioral health, including but not limited to economic, health, physical or vocational needs. Provides frequent direct contact and treatment, at least biweekly but as needed by the consumer. Provides crisis intervention and emergency services as needed to Blended consumers. Obtains information from consumers, members of their families and others necessary for the identification of social, economic, emotional, health or physical problems and for assisting consumers in obtaining a wide variety of services on the basis of establishing policy, regulations and statutes.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Irregular hours including evening and weekends, may be required.
- Works on a rotating basis 24/7 once trained.
- Occasional overnight and out of county travel for meetings or training.
- Provides 24 hour/days per week on-call coverage on a rotating basis.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; or
- Successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; or
- A bachelor's degree with a social welfare major; or
- A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience in a public or private social service agency; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.

- You must pass a background investigation.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
