This vacancy is for a Management & Program Analyst in the National Telecommunications and Information Administration within the Department of Commerce.

To qualify at the GS-13 level: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-12 (or equivalent pay band) level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as: Planning, reviewing, and coordinating administrative tasks, including but not limited to budget management and planning; Developing program or administrative reporting systems, including system specifications, data-gathering and analytical techniques, and evaluation methodology; and Researching, analyzing, and evaluating programs, communicating findings, and making recommendations.
Major Duties:
As a Management & Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Develop, manage, and maintain assigned operations data/information systems.
Evaluating and advising on programs and their operations, organization, methods, and procedures within the NTIA program office.
Identify needs and make recommendations to modify administrative policies and processes for use in the management and direction of programs.
Interpreting, reviewing, and analyzing policies, regulations, procedures, and system(s) requirements. Research current or new management practices for application to programs or operations.
Provide technical advice on the appropriate method and/or procedure of analysis and evaluation.
Analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems, including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.
Identify, develop, analyze, and evaluate new or modified administrative program policies, regulations, goals, or objectives for use in the management and direction of programs; and develop data required for use in the management and direction of programs.
Serve as the COR, monitoring and overseeing contractor performance, technical requirements, and providing direction within the contract scope.
