Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing work processes in a naval maintenance center, using tools like spreadsheets and mapping software to improve efficiency and manage data for waterfront operations.
You'll support the department by researching issues, recommending solutions, and handling administrative tasks like organizing meetings.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in process improvement and data analysis, especially those familiar with military or technical environments.
You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the WATERFRONT OPERATION DPT. of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.
FOR GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying management principles, organization theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation to conduct studies of work process data and to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to procedures.
Experience applying knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools including value stream mapping, project scoping, and the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) process.
Experience utilizing multiple software to map complex processes and depict new process flow, to include: MS Visio, MS Excel, Adobe Professional and iGraphix.
Experience developing/compiling and using a variety of tools sets such as spreadsheets and databases to gather, maintain, assess and present data.
Experience performing detailed analysis to ensure quality submissions, make recommendations and implement resolutions.
FOR GS-09:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying management principles, organization theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation to assist with the conduction of studies of work process data and to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to procedures.
Experience utilizing multiple software to map complex processes and depict new process flow, to include: MS Visio, MS Excel, Adobe Professional and iGraphix.
