Full Job Description

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Manpower/Manning Support Division of HDQTRS NDW.

For The GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing customer requests to fill, create, or change billets to meet hiring needs and shortfalls; 2) Reviewing military manning levels for assigned areas of responsibility and identifying areas with critical manning shortfalls; 3) Planning and conducting portions of analytical studies and assisting higher level specialists with aspects of comprehensive studies; and 4) Tracking authorized and assigned workforce and making appropriate updates and corrections in the Total Workforce Management System (TWMS) and using the full range of Microsoft Office Suite to complete daily tasks.

For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and/or conducting portions of analytical studies; 2) Analyzing customer requests to fill, create or change billets to meet hiring needs; 3) Advising on proposed re-organizations and/or realignments through an understanding of Manning and Manpower statuses, regulations, policies, instructions and/or other relevant authoritative documents; and 4) Using the Total Workforce Management System (TWMS) and the full range of Microsoft Office Suite to complete daily tasks.

  • You will interpret and analyze statistical reports using multiple systems.
  • You will create process improvement initiatives for the Total Force Manpower program.
  • You will recommend corrective action for improving processes or procedures.
