Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

You will serve as a Management & Program Analyst in the Engineering and Planning Department for the Engineering Process Control Division, Process Control Branch of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing, extracting, summarizing, and identifying significant trends and issues for preparations of reports, charts, graphs, and statistical data for top-level management presentations and briefings.
Experience in applying principles and objectives of governmental budget administration, and an understanding of governmental accounting and financial reporting techniques.
Experience reviewing directives for impact and providing appropriate recommendations where they affect policy and practices.
Experience operating and having thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to have the ability to operate, input, retrieve, modify, and manipulate data.
Experience in supporting financial functions as required for budgeting and auditing.
For the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting with analyzing, extracting, summarizing, and identifying significant trends and issues for preparations of reports, charts, graphs, and statistical data for top-level management presentations and briefings.
Experience analyzing and understanding basic budgetary policies, procedures, and regulations.
Experience in applying principles and objectives of governmental budget administration, and an understanding of governmental accounting and financial reporting techniques.
Experience having a thorough knowledge and skill of computers and ability to operate, input, retrieve, modify and manipulate data.
Experience assisting with support in financial functions as required for budgeting and auditing.
