Job Description

Summary

Full Job Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Candidate must have a strong understanding of logistics support pertaining to consumable stocking levels and the effective use of BP28 funds to ensure operational readiness.

This includes mastery of core Operational Supply Planning tasks such as evaluating Site Demand Based Levels and executing Schedule Board in Navy ERP to replenish materials.

They should be highly knowledgeable in computer systems like Microsoft Excel or SAS to perform data analysis, research, and tracking inventory.

Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to solve inventory related problems and coordinate with various customers and stakeholders regarding material requirements.

GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Candidate must have a foundational understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts such as maintaining authorized stocking levels and taking action to ensure material readiness..

They should be proficient with computer systems like Excel or Access to perform data analysis, research, and tracking inventory.

  • You will be responsible for coordinating all Consumable BP28 inventory supply support of assigned location(s) and coordinates with representatives from the following stakeholders.
  • You will provide oversight and corrective action by researching alternate material, reporting any issues regarding improper/incorrect dues calculations, updating, submitting and validating Master Stock Levels (MSL), zero on-hand screening.
  • You will explain and provide detailed information on WSS and other agencies processes and procedures.
  • You will recommend actions for short-term solutions, and long-term resolution of problems identified by the customers or systems.
