Job Description

Summary

This job involves analyzing and managing the Navy's workforce, including planning personnel needs, tracking staffing levels, and providing data-driven advice to leaders on how to best use human resources.

You'll work with military personnel systems to ensure the right people are in the right positions across different units.

It's a good fit for someone with experience in HR or data analysis in a government or military setting who enjoys problem-solving with numbers and coordinating with various teams.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Management Analyst, under the Administrative Department of NAVY INFO OPERATIONS CMD GEORGIA (NAVIOCOM Georgia).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the federal service.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing total force manpower systems to manage the personnel workforce.

Provide direction and perform tasks that support the coordination, analyzing, evaluation, execution and management of manpower resources.

Applying all aspects of military manpower such as billet management, manning and distribution to validate manpower requirements.

  • You will be responsible for providing advice and support for workforce management and manpower analysis for the Command.
  • You will provide management analysis advice and guidance of concepts and practices that best support the Command's manning objectives.
  • You will conduct and provide statistical analysis of manpower requirements and utilization in chart, matrix, or narrative form for leadership's decision.
  • You will manage multiple Unit Identification Codes (UICs), Enlisted Ratings, Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) Codes and officer designators.
  • You will coordinate and liaison with higher Navy headquarters, joint service/agency subheads and staff on workforce management and manpower related activities and requirements.
