Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interacting with high-level officials to provide executive-level oversight, management, guidance and direction of administrative and resource operations; to include department planning processes and assessing performance improvement initiatives.

  • You will serve as a senior civilian advisor on strategic planning, future (i.e. long-range) planning, existing business processes, process improvement initiatives, metrics analysis, corporate governance and resource and performance management.
  • You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust long-term priorities, and prepares schedule for work completion.
  • You will direct and coordinate operations necessary to accomplish the assigned responsibilities of the Strategy and Future Requirements Office.
  • You will oversee the work of both civilian and foreign national personnel in the performance of management and program analyst functions.
  • You will coordinate a variety of initiatives including Continuous Process Improvement, Corporate Governance, Metrics and Business Coordination, and Integrated Priority List Coordination.
  • You will ensure Commander Navy Region Japan's Strategic Plan is in alignment with the strategic plans and direction of higher authority.
