This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level defined as utilizing visual management and process improvement tools to coordinate, track, and document travel plans for an organization; reviewing and interpreting operational policies and procedures related to organizational travel activities; and auditing and tracking travel authorizations and travel vouchers to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.

You will: Serve as the Travel Activities Program Manager for the Office of the Administrator to provide daily oversight and coordination of travel activities associated with the Administrator's travel plans.
Utilize travel systems and cross-cutting controls that impact both the internal and external processes to identify and resolve technical and administrative issues related to travel activities.
Advise Deputy Chief of Staff for Management, Office of the Administrative Service and Performance Management (OASPM) Director, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, and other travel preparers on the interperation of governing instructions and on situations unique to the Administrator's travel activities.
Prepare and track travel authorizations and vouchers for the Administrator and the Administrator's staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance with travel regulations and procedures and respond to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) document requests regarding travel.
