Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements. Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.
OR Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.
Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience in analyzing highly technical information, drawing conclusions and providing recommendations relating to the assessment, skills development, and reentry of federal offenders.
Experience in conducting data collection studies and research projects and providing advisory services to management officials.
Experience in analyzing and reviewing management processes, documentation procedures and controls, forms, records, files, directives, and information system/office automation for efficiency.
Experience designing automated systems and software and related reports/output to enter and retrieve data, track information, and to produce a wide range of documentation (i.e.
analytical reports, spreadsheets, and statistical charts and graphs). If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience.

This position is located in the Reentry Services Division (RSD).
Performs organizational and data collection studies on projects relating to the assessment, skills development, and reentry of federal offenders.
Responsible for the quality control of generated statistical reports for BOP executive staff and outside agency review.
Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems designed specifically to establish efficient methods for information collection and distribution.
Serves as the primary point of contact for all statistical information provided to both internal and external sources.
Provides interpretation of the data and technical assistance to CEO's, BOP executive staff, executive level staff outside the agency, and Congressional inquiries.
Independently determines the appropriated research and analysis criterial needed to retrieve the most accurate information for the request.
Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.
