Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing international training programs for naval combat systems, including overseeing sales to foreign militaries, monitoring budgets and contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
It supports the development and delivery of training technologies for missile defense and fleet operations.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government acquisitions, international programs, and naval training who enjoys coordinating with officials and improving processes.
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS) in the INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS DEPARTMENT of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD DAHLGREN.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing combat systems training programs and training systems in support of acquisitions for international combat training systems and instructional delivery technologies; 2) Monitoring contractor performance relative to assigned Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases and reporting status to the Contract Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Director/Deputy; 3) Designing and presenting briefings for senior government and foreign officials at formal program management reviews; and 4) Monitoring FMS assigned case budgets to assure effective use of resources and compliance with regulations, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures.
