Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.
To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
Creditable specialized experience includes: GS-11: Broad knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness such as CPI principles, theories and practices and their application to complex programs and/or projects; Possesses highly developed written and oral communication skills to effectively convey policies and practices at various management levels.
GS-12: Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness such as CPI principles, theories and practices and their application to complex programs and/or projects; Assisting leadership with strategic alignment of projects within mission objectives, project prioritization and selection, metrics selection performance, and infrastructure support; Prepare sensitive briefings and reports, independently or as a member of a team.
GS-13: Mastery of the application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness such as advanced CPI principles, theories and practices and their application to complex programs and/or projects; Prepare sensitive briefings and reports independently.
Ability to coach MBB, BB and GBs on program tools and elements. Mastery of management principles, concepts, and practices, and a comprehensive knowledge of DoD policies, regulations, and directives.
