To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements. Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.
Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.
Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience in handling complex tasks and projects involving the analysis of a wide variety of disciplines.
Experience in analyzing reports, surveys, data and complex statistical problems. Experience in preparing technical reports/briefings on issues affecting the organization.
If applicable, credit will be given for paid or unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as number of hours worked per week) spent in the activities.

This management analyst position is located in the Research, Activation, and Corporate Support (RACS) Division, Federal Prisons Industries, Inc. (UNICOR), Washington, D.C.
Provides the Chief, Administrative Officer with assistance in meeting the Division's overall responsibility for development and analysis of plans, policies, programs, position accountability, and budgets to insure optimum utilization of employee, financial, and material resources.
Performs a wide variety of analytical research into historical records and documents of the corporation to make recommendations concerning financial or personnel operating procedures with relationship to past decision precedent and expected revised operating guidelines.
Develop staffing activation schedules for new industrial operations. This includes preparation of personnel actions, staff reporting dates, and presentations.
Plans, develops, and coordinates various meetings and special projects which are designed to improve the operations and decision making processes of FPI and BOP.
