Job Description

Summary

This job involves analyzing procurement needs, evaluating program effectiveness, and supporting fleet operations at a naval base in San Diego.

Full Job Description

This position is identified as a Management Analyst within the Fleet Support Team (FST) Procurement Branch within the Strategic Planning and Management Support Division of the FST Operations, Planning & Support (OPS) Department at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), located at Naval Base Coronado, San Diego, California.

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-07 Grade Level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Examples of qualifying specialized experience includes: (1) Demonstrating technical experience in managing procurement and contracting requirements analysis and documentation to support program and project objectives; (2) Applying qualitative and quantitative methods to assist in evaluating program effectiveness and enhance analytical and management processes; (3) Maintaining effective working relationships with program stakeholders in support of agency goals and mission needs; and (4) Providing guidance to internal and external partners by resolving programmatic issues.

OR You have successfully completed a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.

OR You have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree. OR You have successfully completed LL.B or J.D.
