Entry salary: $62,107 | Full performance (GS-12): up to $96,770

Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing naval research programs to evaluate their progress, identify issues, and suggest improvements to make them more efficient and effective.
You'll work closely with leaders to monitor budgets, track milestones, and ensure funding supports the department's goals in sea warfare and weapons technology.
It's a good fit for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in program evaluation, especially in government or defense settings.
You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Sea Warfare and Weapons S&T Department, Code 33 of OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying, revising, extending, and/or developing complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques to evaluate assigned programs; 2) Identifying interrelated program problems, drawing conclusions, and recommending appropriate actions or solutions to improve program productivity and performance; and 3) Applying budgetary policies and procedures related to funding types/sources to prepare actual and projected funding estimates, justifications, and strategies in support of department objectives.
