This position performs skilled work in a variety of trades in order to prepare, repair, and maintain assigned region, of the Bureau of Store Infrastructure Development. Requirements

As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will work independently as well as assist other workers within the PLCB. The incumbent will be responsible for the design and subsequent construction and finishing of a variety of custom furniture, cabinets, display cases, product shelving, and related items for use in stores or in various offices throughout the agency. Incumbents may work individually on the entire project or work as a team on small and large projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.


Special Requirement:

  • You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Legal Requirement:

You must pass a background investigation.

An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
