The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Repairman to join our Troop D team in Butler.
In this dynamic role, you will take on a wide variety of maintenance and repair responsibilities, ensuring that every day brings new challenges and opportunities.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all buildings and property.
This includes painting interior and exterior surfaces, selecting the appropriate paint, and preparing surfaces for application.
You will handle remodeling tasks such as repairing, installing, or removing doors, shelving, flooring, roofing, walls, enclosures, and office furniture.
Your work will involve masonry projects like installing or repairing concrete sidewalks and curbs; plumbing repairs, including fixing pumps, sinks, toilets, showers, pipes, leaks, and clogged drains; and HVAC operation and maintenance to ensure proper functioning of furnaces, pumps, steam extractors, and filtration systems.
Additionally, you will complete electrical work such as installing and repairing lighting fixtures, switches, ballasts, new circuits, and room rewiring.
Other duties include snow removal, walkway and grounds cleanup, lawn mowing, trimming, weeding, leaf removal, watering, and operating equipment related to groundskeeping and snow removal.
