This is an exciting opportunity to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties, involving several trades, in the installation, repair and maintenance of various machinery, equipment, structures and environs for Commonwealth buildings and equipment.

The Maintenance Repairman 1 is tasked with the upkeep of Commonwealth buildings by performing general maintenance and cleaning areas in and around the building.
Duties include basic carpentry work, assisting electricians in major electrical projects and completing minor repairs and adjustments to small-motorized equipment.
You can expect to perform basic plumbing duties and assist in more complex problems. This position makes minor repairs to wall surfaces and applies paint to both interior and exterior surfaces.
Snow removal from building entrances, walkways and steps is included in your duties along with other miscellaneous tasks.
