Requirements

In this role, you will be tasked with performing a variety of trades at the sub-journey level in maintenance and repair. Your duties will include minor routine repairs either independently or with minimal supervision, as well as assisting skilled tradespeople or foremen with more complex projects. A basic understanding of the methods, materials, tools, and safety practices related to trades such as carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, masonry, electrical, welding, and landscaping is essential, though this list is not exhaustive. Additionally, you should be capable of operating equipment like tractors, mowers, dump trucks, pickup trucks, motorized turf machinery, and chainsaws, and be able to comprehend operation and maintenance manuals for these tools.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026, until November 2026, at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
  • Employee in this position will be required to work weekends, and holidays as required. Days/Shifts will vary, employee will work 37.5 hrs./5 days per week.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.


Special Requirements:

  • You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
