Job Description

Summary

This job involves managing administrative tasks and supplies for a U.S.

Army Reserve maintenance team, such as organizing tools, tracking inventory, and preparing reports to keep operations running smoothly.

It's a hands-on role in a military support unit in New Hampshire, where you'll also help train others and handle daily paperwork.

About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the 99th Readiness Division, Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) 160 located at Londonderry, New Hampshire.

This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves utilizing automated systems to schedule, track, or process work requests; maintaining equipment supply logs or production control records; and conducting inventory of supplies, tools, or parts.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Major Duties:

  • Organize shop tools to distribute appropriately to employees.
  • Review inventory of supply operations for discrepancies.
  • Maintain accountability of administrative actions.
  • Spearhead formal and informal training to the organization.
  • Prepare daily reports to monitor shop equipment database.
