Requirements

As a Mail Production Operator, you will be responsible for programming and operating the Bell & Howell AIMS inserting equipment, ensuring that it is fully functional and operational as part of your daily start-up routine.

You will load equipment with various types of output, such as continuous forms, cutsheet outputs, letsets, and titles, along with the corresponding inserts necessary for each type of output.

A critical aspect of your role will involve reviewing verification reports to ensure that the output matches the expected specifications.

Additional duties entail verifying that the work coming off of the machines is correct and accurately positioned, as well as performing minor machine repairs and adjustments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours/week
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Mail Production Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.


Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
