This job involves managing logistics for aircraft programs, especially for sales to foreign militaries, including planning support, handling equipment purchases, and solving complex supply issues.

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the F-35 branch of the Support Equipment department at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division - Lakehurst NJ Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Directing, developing, and implementing logistics support to aircraft programs for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases.
Supporting site activation, site surveys, initial outfitting, SE acquisition management, and SE acquisition/logistics planning and obligation.
Developing, coordinating and monitoring complex cases in providing logistics management support for purchases, transfers, and leases of commodities, complex weapons systems, equipment, and support services.
Identifying material, services and shipping requirements and projected costs for systems life cycles.
Providing FMS program guidance to representatives of foreign countries, and other DOW components and commands and resolving complex logistics problems, developing corrective actions, programing enhancements, and implementing policy changes.
