Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with oversight for Supply Support Activity (SSA) management and warehouse operations; operating the Global Combat Support Systems - Army (GCSS- Army); identifying systematic issues and resolving customer problems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Major Duties:

  • Serve as Accountable Officer for a contractor operated Multi-Class Joint Theater Distribution Center Supply Support Activity (SSA) in the INDOPACOM / USARPAC Area of Operations
  • Provide oversight of the warehouses, storage facilities, and other supply facilities as required.
  • Conduct split-based operations connected via interior lines.
  • Responsible for Supply Support Activity (SSA) management and warehouse operations (receipt, store, issue, care of supplies in storage, second destination shipping, item disposition).
  • Responsible and retains pecuniary liability for all lines of Authorized to Forecast / Authorized Stockage List (ATF/ASL)
  • Maintain the Supply Support Activity (SSA) accountable records and the operation of the SSA software Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
