This National Guard position is for a Logistics Management Officer (Temp Promo)-Title 32, Position Description Number D2434000 and is part of the WI 128 LRS, Wisconsin Air National Guard.
*At management's discretion, this Temporary Promotion may be made permanent without further competition in accordance with 5CFR 335.103(c)(1)(i) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-0346-13 level, you must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Must have experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations.
Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan.
Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan.
Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed.
Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Major Duties:
As a Logistics Management Officer (Temp Promo)-Title 32, GS-0346-13, you will provide overall senior level supervisory management of the logistics personnel and programs.
Plans, directs, and administers logistics programs to include Operations Compliance, Cargo Movement, Air Transportation, Logistics Plans, Vehicle Maintenance and Management, Ground Transportation, Fuels Management and Material Management.
Supervises positions engaged in substantive logistics work.
Responsible for overall management of the units' resources, manpower, equipment accountability, internal controls and training in peacetime, in preparation to perform the State and Federal missions.
