Summary

This job involves helping maintain clean and organized locker rooms, showers, and pool areas at a public facility, while checking in patrons' items and enforcing basic rules.

It's a hands-on role focused on customer service and light maintenance tasks.

A good fit would be someone reliable, at least 17 years old with some high school education, who enjoys interacting with people and keeping spaces tidy.

  • Assistance in maintaining pool area equipment and issuing/collecting locker keys
  • Completion of basic first aid and CPR training within 90 days of hire

Full Job Description

Under immediate supervision, assists with maintenance activities in locker rooms, showers, and changing areas.

Requirements

  • Conducts check-in service for patrons’ clothing and personal items.
  • Ensures pool, locker, restroom, and shower areas are kept clean, orderly, and well-maintained using appropriate cleaning supplies.
  • Notifies guests regarding pool rules, signage, and applicable requirements of pool area.
  • Assists in maintaining equipment around pool areas.
  • May issue and collect locker keys.
  • Arranges baskets and other related equipment in proper order.

Qualifications

Qualifications (required):
  • At least 17 years of age with completion of two (2) years of high school.

Qualifications (preferred):
  • One (1) year of public contact, customer service, or maintenance related work experience.

Licensing and Certifications
Candidates considered for placement in this classification may be subject to a Criminal Background Investigation based on the requirements of the position.

Individuals entering this class are required to complete a training course in basic first aid and CPR within 90 days of hire.
