This job involves checking life, health, and annuity insurance policies to make sure they follow state and federal rules, working with teams to fix any problems, and communicating with insurance companies and the public.

You'll get to work mostly from home part-time while contributing to fair insurance practices in Pennsylvania.

In this role, you will review and evaluate complex accident and health, life, and annuity insurance policy filings to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including federal health care provisions.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with actuarial staff and other program areas to identify and resolve filing issues.
Work involves collecting and analyzing supporting information to determine approval or disapproval of policy forms, preparing detailed objection letters when necessary, and maintaining accurate documentation of review decisions.
Effective communication is key as you will be corresponding with insurers, consultants, legal representatives, and the general public to address questions, clarify requirements, and facilitate timely resolution of filing concerns.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
