The Pennsylvania Game Commission is on the lookout for a dedicated 3 Year Limited Term Wildlife Technician to join the Northwest Region Biology Section team.

As a Wildlife Technician, you will provide field support for the implementation of Bureau of Wildlife Management (BWM) and Region programs.
This position acts as an essential member of a fully functional wildlife management team with shared BWM program support among the Wildlife Management Supervisor, wildlife biologist 1, wildlife technician, bio-aide, and intern positions to achieve the Agency’s goals and objectives.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity to perform technical wildlife management work including, but not limited to capturing, handling, marking, and monitoring birds and mammals, wildlife population monitoring, wildlife response to habitat management, and wildlife health monitoring.
You will be expected to ensure projects and surveys follow established guidelines and meet expected deadlines.
