This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Santee-Wateree Center for Mental Health, 2611 Liberty Hill Road, Camden, SC 29020.Responsibilities for the Licensed Practical Nurse, Non-institutional:
Maintain current and up-to-date knowledge/skills related to patient treatment; ensure all clinic medication licenses are up to date, monitor monthly pharmacy reports for all clinics and report vulnerable areas to Medical Director.
Review nursing policies as requested by the Medical Director and communicate any necessary changes if any are needed; review the Sharps Injury Log.
Successful completion of an approved nursing education program for professional nursing or an equivalent course of study from an approved nursing education program per Section 40-33-32 of the South Carolina Nurse License Act.
